Hey Everyone Again

Introduce yourself

Hey Everyone Again

Postby Mattpaus » Mon Jul 01, 2013 5:38 pm

Hey everyone,
just reintroducing myself as i now have my own Liberty.
i picked up a 2006 3.0rb with 90 thousand km on the clock.
i am from sydney and i am looking forward to coming to some meets.
the previous owner put a catback exhaust and some 19" rims on it.
not the biggest fan of the rims and will change them when the tyres run out.
but love the rumble from the exhaust.

plans for the car:
full exhaust including headers,
tune
new rims
front lip
boot lip
some nice license plates, no more horrid yellow.
anycarlink
start with some sti pink springs and inevitably end up going coilovers.
basically i will remain broke forever ahah.

hope the pics work.

Save your money and just wait to get coilovers - they're cheap anyway

Looks neat - but first thing I would do is change the rims, will look heaps better. Or respray the car black to suit the rims!

Maybe this discussion will help with your decision? Took me ages to finally decide what wheels I wanted, so good luck!

And if you don't wait for the rubber to wear out, it shouldn't cost too much to get old rubber fitted on new wheels. It was $20 per corner for fitting and balance with rubber moved from old to new for me at Jax.

going to plasti dip my rims black for the time being to cover the red and to kinda hide the design of the rims.
thinking i will get black rims after. very hard otherwise to find a nice shade of grey/silver that will go with the dark grey body.
keeping an eye out for nice rims similar to the tb sti rims. and for a 3rb front lip.
and going to get in contact with leo and get all my lights dont aswell.
