Introduce yourself

Kris from Perth

Postby Thursty » Fri Jul 05, 2013 12:59 am

Hi all,

My name is Kris, I've just purchased my first Subaru, a 2000 GT wagon and am looking forward to speaking to you guys about how to get the most out of my new car.

The car is completely stock and could do with a bit of tlc but with some time and patience I think it could be a great little ride.

Can't wait to start tinkering.

Cheers
Thursty

Howdy Kris,

Keep an eye on the WA gatherings pages, there is one coming up 2/8/13.

Pop up some pics when you have a chance, we love pics.

Just use imgur and then link to the pic from here.

Meet you soon.

Think I'm getting close.
How does that look?
I mean the pic not the car.

You must have hit the URL button again. This is your entire post:

Code: Select all

I would guess this bit was supplied by imgur, and is all that is required:
Code: Select all

Which gives:
Image

So the extra at the start and at the end were superfluous.

Also, if you don't want the image to contain a link back to imgur (so clicking on the image goes there), remove the at the start, and at the end, leaving just:
Code: Select all

and a pic that looks the same, but can't be clicked on

I think I have seen this car getting around.

Nice pickup!

Thanks for the welcomes and the advice.

J yes you probably have seen it. Its been in Hillarys for the last 6 months and was driven to and from amfor motors in east perth by the fella that owns the workshop.

Was one of his clients cars who no longer wanted it and had left it garaged for a year or so untouched.

He has been fixing all of the little issues with the engine, gearbox, clutch, brakes and such. The list is very long as is the one that I have of things to finish it off like bodywork, upholstery, stereo and a little performance work.

Can anybody tell me what the B3 means on the plate in the engine bay? I thought it would be B4.
