Hey all,

Need some offset and tyre size recommendations for 19x8.5 wheels. I've got standard brakes and suspension.

I also dont want to be hanging outta the guard.

Would appreciate your input

Offset +45 try a little stretch,e.g. 225's or 235's, [urlhttp://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail4.php?part_number=KCA399]KCA399[/url], roll up rear gaurds inc area adjacent plastic trims...

Nice one Ben.

Is camber adjustment really necessary for that size?

Depends on offset really. ;)
Iirc +40 is about level with the gaurd outer edge with std camber...

Hmm Ive got 18x7.5 at the moment with +45 offset and they're a good fit. I imagine 19x8.5 with same offset would be a lot different?

Confused :?

Generally 8.5 +45 is rim outer edge just inside the gaurd.
8.5 +35 is rim outer edge just outside the gaurd.
But 7.5 +35 would be flusher due to the narrower width rim.
And 7.5 +50 is quite tucked eg stock tbsti rims etc...
Offset is a bit confusing for sure. Needs more sticky. ;)

Around 12mm further out toward the gaurd due to +1" wider rim.

Yep makes sense, I guess the only other thing to take into consideration is the ideal wheel width for an 8.5. Not keen to stretch or bulge.

Just add half an inch either side of what you have now. Presto!

There's a good sticky on LGT that lists all the rim width/tyre recommendations...
But 8.5: 235-255 . 225 would be tending to stretch. 255 less room to tuck.
You'd want to use a comparitive tyre calculator to check that the rims will clear the stock struts too.
Are these the GB LM copies?

225 is 9 inch, should be square.
