Postby seanography » Tue Jul 02, 2013 12:22 am

hey guys,

wanting to get an opinion what colour wheels would be good or suit a diamond grey liberty 2008 aside from black or any type of black.

thanks

Chrome or shadow chrome.

Seriously. JDM chrome or polished wheels. Im over the black on black/dark cars also......

WORK 11R in Glim Silver or Metal buff as an idea of what I mean.

Prova Sparkle Black! :P
I like some of the 3 layer powder coats too, eg: Chrome undercoat, black tint, clear gloss overcoat...

+1 for shadow chrome, looks very good on Ben's. Probably the hardest colour to find wheels for, although it's one of the few colours I actually don't mind black wheels on...

Shadow chrome paint is a bit different from those (powder coated I believe) chrome-like paints.

Shadow chrome can be done with white primer, black undercoat, the shadow chrome almost-tranparent silver, then clearcoat/topcoat as required for finish.

Yeah Ben's (other Ben haha) have been done with the multi layer paint :) Only photo I could find quickly showing the colour. These are mine in the same colour.

lol yeah they all look the same to me. what about hyper silver or white on a diamond grey car? I always wanted white or white-ish wheels.
