Hi all,

Been lurking around here as a visitor for the last few years and have found the site to be very helpful.

Just purchased our second GT wagon and am very happy with it, its suprising how much bigger the genV is over the genIV. Our first was a MY05 that we had for around 4 years and was my wife's daily driver.

Name: Mark
Car: MY11 GT Wagon 5AT
Location: Newcastle, NSW
Mod: All Stock
Plans: Anything the wife will allow.

Hi,

Thanks for the greetings. The colour is the dark grey (graphite?). Its funny how much the colour changes in different lights.

Car is an auto, unfortunately my wife cannot drive a manual. Very impressed with the whole package, doesn't seem to have the lag (or as much) as the old one did.

It can get even better when/if you get you car tuned..... but since you just bought the car, that may be a few years away

I initially got my car tuned (all parts still stock) - and car was definitely more driveable, and got slightly better fuel economy

Then I got a new dump pipe, and after a retune - the fun factor was amplified  :) ............ with massive grins every time I drive it on free flowing roads (ie. not in bloody traffic jams)

I would love to get a tune but will wait until the factory warranty has run out. The previous car had a tune carried out on it and was alot of fun to drive.
New rims will be the first upgrade as the tyres need replacing in another 10000kms or so.
