Best place to take my wagon in Mackay?

Postby HAYDENtattoo » Sun Jun 09, 2013 1:12 pm

Hey guys, I live in Mackay, QLD and I drive an '06 MY07 Spec B wagon and I was just wondering if there's any guys up here also driving libertys as well. Preferably with the H6 but also also keen to meet anyone with Libs in general.

And Im wondering where they take there's to have work done and so forth. I don't seem to come across many mechanics that are confident working on the H6.
Cheers.

PM Tradewind as he is in Mackay and also has an H6 lib; he should be able to tell you the right place to go to.

Mackay is the hometown of H6 mods of the entire world

For general mechanical work including engine - Torissi's Garage

For more extreme works that increase power - Its the home of Raptor SC

For wheel alignments etc on your Lib - beaurepairs on Gordon St

Here's my lib. I'm not a fan of the mags that are currently on the car but I haven't had the coin to replace them and the previous owner had already sold the Spec B mags. But I still love the car! It's definitely my pride and joy!

Now that I didn't know! I really want to get into modding the lib but money is always the issue haha.
What are beaurepairs like as far as pricing goes? Cause I'm definitely in need of an alignment at the moment but don't want to be charged something ridiculous for such a menial task.
Also just out of curiosity, what have you gotten done to your lib?

It is Mackay so costs for most things are going to be well above the national average for an equivilent job

I think from memory = like 3 weeks ago it was $70 for complete 4wheel align - i had mine done

Hayden

You wont see my car around, its always around somewhere or other, but unless you can spot a 100% Stock appearance 2006 3.0RB from every other liberty in Mackay you wont notice it. You also wouldnt notice the other supercharged H6 either, appearing 100% stock but seriously supercharged/intercooled.

A picture of it is in the Forum sub section - Raptor superchargers.

BRAD88 had a white Liberty H6 Sedan 2007 and was around Mackay for a couple of years but I think he has left town now, dont think he is active on the forum either
