I have always had a sweet spot for bimmer wagons.
Drove one in Ireland a few years back, it loves the country roads. Handles corners with elegance.
Apparently i've never been on live television before

The last car I owned was a BMW 3-series M-Sport sedan. It was by far the best car I have ever owned. I only got rid of it to get rid of the constant negative vibes from Dr No. I sold it to a local girl and I still see it around - it makes me cry every time I see it.
It's only real downside was its backend was a little skittish which made wet and winding roads...well....interesting.
cheers,
bj

Haha kinda true... when I had my Heritage really low I slowed down on the freeway when coming up to bridges cause of the bump crossing between the freeway tarmac and the bridge tarmac

My Lib isnt even that low and i have to slow down too! On like the smallest bumps and lumps on the road, if i even go just a tad bit fast, it feels like im going to fly off the road or bust a damper! There's these two bumps on the Hume Highway in between Ashfield and Burwood that really feels like its fucking up my coilovers everytime i go over them at 60km.h...

Have been driving the B4 a bit on this weekend but I have had to set the suspension harder cause of the rear tires scrubbing and to stop this from happening on bumps I shake the wheel back and forth and it stops the back end for just dropping down so far aka 3 cms

so I shall have to do this until I get the camber bushes for the rear to fix that issue and I shall raise it about 2 cms I think cause I still want to take it to track days at Winton one day soon

Isn't that the benefit of adjustable height? You can have it low for the street and then at a more sensible height for the track.
You could always keep your old rims for track rims. Seeing as they aren't as wide you don't have to worry about scrubbing and you won't be running the stretch.
