I hope so, but I am still concerned by the level/type of sound and torque curve. Once I get the car and load up the new tune, I will know in an instant. Feedback will be posted here regardless of the result.

Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Sleeper daily driver is the modus operandi. So it will not be a tyre burning slam shifting million horsepower hack. Just a grandpa doing some nice improvements.

You arent a stickers man - but did you receive the stickers i sent you?

Yes on both counts. I might make a wall board in the garage as a "Roll of Honour" for the products and services that contributed positively to the build.

So, Gino, Bruce, Justin, Mark, Brian, you all need to send me your stickers too!

This should trigger a flurry of art for each of these characters.

Agreed and that new intake should help the engine breath better and the headers look really good and I can't wait to hear it!

Hope so. Will be a little disappointed if not... Originally, the finish date was last Wednesday, but then I kept finding things I did not like, so... no one to blame but...

Today's progress:

Car is re-assembled and all parts installed. After priming the WTA, a leak was noticed around the Reservoir Level Tube, so that will be repaired tomorrow. Other than that it should be ready to go tomorrow afternoon.

They played the exhaust sound track to me over the telephone and .... I am not particularly happy with it, so I will check it out personally tomorrow morning and there may be some changes needed!

So close....

My advice: let it be and drive it, takes time for a new zorst setup to bed in sound-wise and the tune will also have a bearing on the result IMHO. Make some changes when you know it's at least running & tuned properly ;)

Yes, good advice and I have experienced that when I first did the dual tip mufflers. I know I should wait for it to bed in, but if the sound does not sit with me personally, then it will have to be changed. It is just one of those personal thresholds.
