I installed 12sq ft of Stinger Road Kill to both front doors, and the tail gate today.
I covered about 50% of each outer door skin (the bits i could access easy enough), and all of the service holes in the inner skin.
As for the boot (prone to rattles), installed it to where ever it could go, which ended up being most of the inner skin, and a little bit of the outer skin (impossible to access).

Wen't for a drive after it was all done, can notice a good improvement all round. The speakers have a bit more bass and mid, and the road noises sound "damper".
The rattles in the boot are mostly gone, although it could still be improved. (I want them to be non existent).

The doors also have a nice deep thump when you close them, and are heavier too.
if you knock on the front doors, and then the back doors (no road kill), theres a huge difference in the sound. The rears echo like a drum, and the fronts are a lot muter/less tiny.

I'd like to do the rear doors when i have my next day off, so i'll probably buy the smaller $45 pack of Stinger to cover them.

A big job, took about 4 hours all up. But worth it. I'd like to cover the entire car in this stuff although i don't know how to pull apart the car to access the wheel arch's etc.

Over the past few weeks i've become extremely fond of dish-style wheels.

Buy the Koya's for half the cost of the WORK's.

Still a really good wheel.

Courier depot to depot with Ego will be far under $100.

My thoughts too.
The only thing i'm worried about is fitment. without camber plates or coil overs, it will be too close to call.

Ah yes, indeed it would be.... would be a no go on stock suspension. Although i thought you were considering lowered options.

I'd do anything for those Koya's, but my head is telling me it would be a lot more beneficial and wiser to install some coilovers first, then look at different (wider) wheel options. Tein S tech's will set me back $450, although some second hand BC coil overs won't cost much more, with a lot more positives.

Great job on the sound deadener Jay. It makes a big difference in sound quality.

Keen to see how those deep dish rims look on the wags.
Cheers

It was an educated guess, as those Work's 5x130 will only fit your dads car 8)
