Today's progress:

The cats and front Y pipe has been completed and all welds look good. Sorry about the pic quality, might see if I can get a better one tomorrow when it is on the car.
Other work going on is a new bracket for the WTA Electric Pump. That was addressed today and alignment is much better than the previous photo, although the bracket was being sprayed, so could not see it. Will check it again later.
Also, the trimming of the guard to ensure the new Air Intake gets a smooth bend from the filter into the sc unit, has been finished and painted.
The original install of the electric air fan for SC unit cooling is another one of those done with plastic straps. Not on my car!!! Unless I put them there.

Anyway, they will fabricate a bracket to mount the fan to the chassis. It was originally tied to the air bag loom.
As the car is in a state of disassembly, I started looking at the wiring looms in the front guards. It surprised me to see one of the main looms unprotected with all the wires exposed to road grime. From a distance, it looks like there had been some arcing within the bend of the loom. So took a torch light to give it a closer inspection and it looks ok. Nonetheless, a major wiring loom tucked up where one cannot see it without pulling the inner guard out and this sort of exposure was quite surprising. So, an autoelec will be attending on Monday to wire up the WTA pump and I have asked for his professional opinion on the exposed loom. I feel that the inner guard material is much too light to protect it, so regardless, I will have some additional protection put in place.
So, tomorrow, the front Y section is due to be bolted up, the air intake should be in and then just have to wait for Monday and the autoelec.
Discussion tonight indicated, maybe mid next week if I do not find any more items that I want changed.
