Gran Turismo 6 end of 2013

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

I dunno there were a couple of glitches through out the franchise. Don't remember which game was specific to which. There was the suspension jumping glitch, Pikes peak Escudo wheelie glitch. There was no money cheat and i remember i wanted a game shark really bad haha.

The glitch I recall in gt 1 was the green (or red for some people) s14 being too low when you won it, and it would just bounce around. I spent ages playing it, I could lap trail mountain in 1:04.something in the TVR ceberra and 1:05 in the rally wrx.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

I've had GT1 on PS, 3 on the PS2, and 5 on the PS3 and loved every minute of them all. I still don't get how people bang on about how this isn't realistic, or that isn't right, it's a bloody game FFS. I've spent hours, and not to mention the dollars for a G27 set-up, playing on and off line and think where else can you get that much fun for such little money. When you consider the money and R&D put in by Polyphony it really is bang for your buck.

Online bugs me sometimes with the knobs you come across but then you'll find a room that rips and everyone is just having fun cutting laps and racing. I've played with crew from all over the world and again had a ball. Can't wait for GT6 as now I'm in Japan it, along with here is one of my links to home.

The first game I ever owned was GT also. So many fuckin hours spent on that! Still have it and it is still set up to play in an instance. Played it again a few months ago as I was feeling nostalgic and Fuck is it hard now. When you don't know any better it's easy.
Having owned every single gt there is except prelude gt5 was a massive downside.
I much prefer the cars and mods on forza, tracks are shit in comparison to gt. Plus damage and true marks are cool to have.
I'm hoping gt6 will actually spark what I use to love about playing that game again.
If this gt6 doesn't hit the mark it's 3 strikes and out for me. Having to wait so fkn long then to have a half assed piece of shit disappointment for a game in gt5 is nearly enough for me to not come back.
If forza had as many cars as gt and a few of it's tracks there'd be no reason for gt to exist.

So wrong. Given that GT was around first, that is an invalid comment :P

Anyway like I said this is not about Forza. So stop bringing it up. I partly agree with your thoughts about GT5 but I actually didn't mind it for the most part. I spent 100-200 hours plus easily on that game and that was for an incomplete game. If GT6 hits the mark god help me

it is a valid statement as i never said forza came first. i just meant that if forza had those things gt become redundant.
and having a conversation about gt without bringing up forza is like talking about pink short shorts and not bringing up Alex.
jokes.

but yes if gt6 ticks the boxes then i will loose my shit

So much grammatical error in the above statement I want to neck myself.

Here:

It is a valid statement as I never said Forza came first; I just meant that if Forza had those things, GT will become redundant.
Further, having a conversation about GT without bringing up Forza is like talking about pink short shorts and not bringing up Alex.

At the end of the day I have a PS3 so it's GT for me. I couldn't give a rats about Forza as I don't have, nor ever will have an Xbox. Here in Japan Xbox is pretty much non-existant which suits me fine. Does GT has room for improvement, yes, of course. Even if it was the "perfect" game it's still just that a game and sometimes the little gamer boys need to be reminded of that. How many of them stop and think, or even have a clue, about the time and effort it takes to create something like these games. Sometimes, before we all start bitching about how something could be better if they did this or that maybe we should stop and think about the people who stuck their balls on the table and said let's have a crack.

The big one for GT is going to be Drive Club coming out on the PS4. There's going to be decisions to be made.

That's a fairly blind sighted opinion, I'd recommend at least trying it. It really is a worthy contender to the gt franchise. having both games I can directly compare games. The fact that gt took so many years to produce a game that still fell short of what forza did by a long shot is quite obvious.
We all know exactly how much effort it takes to make these.

Personally I hate my Xbox. Fuck paying for online, I literally only play for some forza action. Having to put batteries in a remote, noisy cooling fans, and sometimes freezes when saving. Not much I can do... I'll stick to my PS3 as much as I can

I like Forza too.. but the only reason i dont own an Xbox is Xbox Live.. its a real rip to pay for online subscriptions.. to play online...

Imo, Forza is more up to date and in tune with what people want now and mostly fufills those needs (mostly customisation), not a perfect game, but a fun game, drifting its really easy and same with the racing, although the handling physics dont feel all too there... theres something about it that doesnt make it that "real"

Gran Turismo, is for those that are old school. Its more gritty and more of a serious game than Forza or even most of the other games. You could dub it "hardcore" but then again.. its not that extremely detailed or "hardcore" than it could be.
