Yeah I didn't bother with LED's, they don't work well in the projector housings.

I went Crystal Vision as they are normal bulbs, but still white. Plus they were cheap :P
Here's how they look with a friends Aurion.

I feel like i've been copying/stalking you with these lights.
Im going with those 5000k T3's as fogs too. (i swear i chose them in my head ages before i read this)
Where'd you get them cheap from/ how much $$. And I thought the 5000k were called diamond, not crystal... unless both exist..

Bahaha it's a common set up Jay, don't worry, I copied the light set up judging by what friends have anyways XD They have 8000k HID's though, that looked too blue IMO.
I cheaped out XD I went Crystal Vision which are 4300k opposed to 5000.
I got them off eBay. They're from China so they're probably cheap copies of real Phillips bulbs, but I know people who have been running them from over 12 months without issue (from the same sellers).
H3 Fogs $36:

HB3 High Beam $25:

My dad has some in his car so I can take some pics to show anyone wondering what they look like then shining. They don't look yellow at all IMO.

I haven't actually driven at night since I installed them!!! :x
In being an overly fussy perfectionist, as is my nature, the car has been sitting in the garage as I repaint the rear spoiler. I'm hoping it will be done so I can drive it home from work Thursday night with the HID's haha.

Are they a lot better?

Awesome. I was moving it around the backyard the other night and I was impressed, I'm looking forward to seeing them on the road.

That's true, I always relate them to luxurious cars, not always German (Lexus, Infiniti etc as well). I'll have to see if it makes my Safety Pack feel more expensive

Well I can definitely say the HID's are amazing!! Very happy with the light. Now waiting on the Fogs + High Beams.

I have a few questions and CBF'd making a thread:

I'm up for my interval service on the car, I'm planning on doing oil, filter, UEC and injector cleaner.
Anything else I can consider?
Can anyone on the forums source a genuine oil filter?

Also, I noticed by top and bottom radiator hoses need replacing. I've been told silicone is better and I think blue would look pretty nice.
Can you get blue silicone radiator hoses for an NA 2.5?

HID's are the best !

Check all the other fluids of course, maybe a tire rotation could be done.

Filter, and stuff try out City Subaru: http://www.subarucity.com.au/genuine-parts.html

As for the hose, you will probably need to get one and cut it to fit, if they don't make specific ones.

There are ones like this that say they will fit a 06 Legacy, but beware as sometimes they just tick all the boxes: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Subaru-liberty- ... bd&vxp=mtr

Cheers Josh, agreed. Drove home 2 hours in the dark on Saturday, loved every second of it. Was nice the take the car for a decent drive too!

All other fluids will be checked. My last service was a major so I won't bother with things like flushing the radiator or whatever.

Yeah happy to trim, but I was unsure as to where to start to get the right bends? Start with a 2.5 turbo kit and modify? Those ones you linked don't appear to be bent enough. It's an S shape, and the other piece is a 90 degree bend

Just go to your local dealer for filter + uec.. About $15-20 each from memory. Don't forget to get a new crush washer also.

As for the radiator hoses I would say they certainly do exist as the EJ25 is not an uncommon engine :P I don't know that many would specify the 2.5i specifically but I imagine cross-compatibility from Forester/Impreza would exist.

Awesome, cheers Zach. I will probs buy the UEC and injector cleaner from Mick as it will be cheaper and get the filter here. Stupid question, but what do you mean by crush washer? Please don't tell me Liberty's have one on the drain bolt... I'm guessing Subaru could help me there too?

Will have to look into the hoses. Thanks again Zach

Ah yeah forgot about that, good idea. And yeah Subaru's still have them on the drain bolt.. Some people just re-use them but they're only like $2 so meh :P

Yeah $2 won't break the bank. I think it's a stupid idea having a crush nut but those are the breaks I guess.

I am looking forward to spending a day on the car just servicing. After every mod I do having something or other go wrong, a routine service will be a nice change!

Ej25 hoses from a Forester are apparently different judging by pics. Will have to check turbo ones now.
