Why do you think I sold my Legacy GT with a brand new $4000 2.5 long motor in it? 80kms a day became annoying with the full Whiteline catalogue under it.

Tony's car did not sound like this with more than what I have :angry2: I'm lucky I only average about 20 a day

Full Whiteline catalogue in my daily... done 8000Km's in 8 years

Yeah, daily driver and it gets driven to the shops for groceries/doctor visits/post office/takeaway stores etc which is a 2Km round trip then it serves duties at the occasional track day. It clunks and bangs a bit on the potholes but going through roundabouts is sensational :)

Ok so update on my weird electrical problem. As I was driving to work this morning for a split second my ABS and I THINK it was the handbrake like flicked on then flicked off. It happened too quickly for me to see if there were any other lights on.

I have already booked in to get my aftermarket immobiliser checked/bypassed if necessary, this guy is apparently really good with this kind of thing so maybe he can have a snoop around for me and see if he thinks it is anything else. I might get him to check my alternator too.

This is shitting me.

So me and Mick (dr20t) spent Sunday installing my HKS Ezy Writer to HOPEFULLY allow my tune to be perfected

It was a very fun and enjoyable day, the highlight was Mick singing "How Do I" by LeAnn Rimes/Trisha Yearwood. Also all the cussing in another language. Oh and his son's Rambo haircut.

And how could I forget the flatulence from both sides hahahah.

Anyways we weren't able to calibrate the unit properly as the instruction manual it comes with is ridiculously short and shitty. Mick later on found a full guide on the net which I will use to calibrate it tonight, in time for my tune tomorrow night!

In other news, I finally came up against a 2006 WRX STI who lives in my area, been wanting to come up against this guy for a while. Of course, we went and found a private road for this  Bottom line is, I launched my car fairly hard (a little too hard), absolutely destroyed this guy, I'm fairly certain his car is tuned by a certain performance shop in the Shire but I can't be 100% sure. Downside is, I think I have injured my centre diff as I can now hear a harmonic humming on light throttle which sounds to be like a bearing noise. Will have to get this looked at soon!

I am actually kind of hoping it is a Centre diff bearing because I need to get the centre diff taken out anyway to install the solid bronze bushings from frank_ster. Can kill two birds with one sone that way!

That is all.
