Hey guys, recently bought a Atlantic Blue 2006 MY05 3RB in vic with 12 months rego for $10K.. bargin.
As is always the case i hate stock subarus and has had loads done since buying it 15th April 2013.
My FUJ1H6 plates were the first thing that was done when i got to vicroads to do the transfer.

BC V1 coilovers with modified strut tops, Whiteline rear 20mm adj swaybar, whiteline RCK, whiteline ALK.
Lipped the front and rear guards and slighly flared the fronts so i can fit my new Work Emotion Kiwamis.
18 x 8.5 +38 offset with Primacy HP's in 235/45/18. Have also reflashed the ecu and is an ongoing thing.
Current alignment is -2.2 camber and +8.6 castor, and rear is -1.5, handles like a Titanic on rails.
Plan to maybe get some Raptor headers and 100cell cats and then done.
Got the stock rims/tyres for the snow and chains.

lolz owen..

dont have any side shots of where the rims sit to guard, will take a pic tomoz n post it. Strut top mod is swapping Left for right and then i got the dremil out and made the slots bigger so the struts go all the way back to the firewall to maximize only castor and not camber. I have camber bolts in the front plus the eccentric ones, so can get -3.7 in the front if i really wanted it = ie winton and the track. Modding the tops gives an extra couple of degrees of castor which makes a huge difference to dynamic camber and steering feel. I'll take a shot for you to make it easier to see and for other peepz. Would be nice to fit my GT3788R or a supercharger, but these Gen4's are never ever going to be quick with all the weight they carry, and is a massive waste of time for me personally. Had a 500hp GC8, this will never compare as its a very very comfy armchair on wheels.

Nice wheels! Any particular reason you went 45 profile for the tyres? IMO looks a bit Outback spec :P

I thought the same thing at first, but then I realised the 3.0RB comes with 18's stock which are 215/45/18 (therefore going 40 profile *could* make it illegal)

I personally have 225/40/18 on my wheels... since stock is 215/45/17 it's perfectly sized.

My mate didn't have much in smaller size/width which is why I went 235/45/18. We did try a 245/45/18, great for grip, but shit for economy and a would have required a little more guard work. Plus with the way I drive, a 45 profile tyre will protect my rims that little bit more if a pot hole or something is encountered. No point having a rim/tyre combo, or slammed ride height that looks hektik but is completely useless to drive on. 45 profile 18's is the common for car manufacturers! ;-) Stock 3RB is 18x7 215/45/18. :-P

Best measure is to compare rolling diameter

235/40/18 is only 1% off from OEM 215/45/18 :P

lol on tyre size.. speedo was out by 5 and chasing more grip. choice was limited to what was on his shelf.
I'm well aware of tyre sizes etc, thanks anyways Al.. not my first rodeo ;-)

i could easy get another 5mm or so out of the strut tops and crank the strut back for +9 castor, case of CBF.

The coilover adjustment is meant for camber, but an interesting use. I guess when they're installed on the wrong side that can happen.
Built not bought, it's a way of life.
