Cheers mate, that was one of the first things I did, I forget I've even done it because i'm so used to seeing it, but I still get comments when I take passengers, always a good reminder!

Are you still thinking about coilovers and if so next time there is a cruise you can have a go in my car to see if you like the ride or not :)

Hopefully this is a happy medium

Coilovers will kill it for me, I hate the rough feeling on the road

Have you actually ridden in a car with properly set up coilovers?

+1. Coilovers aren't the devil everyone thinks they are. If you opt for soft dampening and get soft spring rates, it'll actually be more comfortable than your existing set up.

That is a good price in my opinion and coilovers are about double but the value is in the eye of the beholder :)

Ahh shit Jake, looks like similar damage to me a couple of months ago... :( but nice pick up on the shocks and springs.
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!
