I'm going with a walbro 450lph (e85 compliant).

Because I'm running eflex I'm also using the e85 proof pigtail sealed connector. Ethanol is conductive (as opposed to hydrocarbon fuel which is not), and thus any exposed fuel pump connectors in the cradle / tank pose a danger.

Upgrading stock wiring and fuse but not hard wiring it yet as I think even at 12.8v it will supply enough fuel to meet my demands.

The cradle will need significant modification to make work which Michael from garage88 is confident of making work. The pump itself is massive so its definitely not a "drop in" affair

Hopefully the stock wiring is enough.

did you read the links ben posted in your other thread? they are very helpful!! im looking to up the alt voltage, change fp module and put better wiring in. i dont think the stock wiring is up to that walbro current draw, id be up grading to 10 amp with a new relay and running it all through the fpmodule. im lucky im not going e85 yet but still need better fuel system for 98 if i go better turbo

if you mod the cradle will you be keeping the stock bottom/mini surge tank on?

The weak link in the system is the wiring from fpc as far as I can tell. If it poses a problem then we'll look at it

Still looking to keep the cradle so will retain the anti surge qualities it contains

so you will remove the in tank filter and put one where the older wrx had it?

No I'm looking to keep the cradle as it is with some mods mick will make to suit and ensure oem-esque fitment

Will be upgrading fuse to 20amp one and hope the 16ag wiring will hold up

Max current rating for the 16ag wiring at 13v is 22amp, and the max current draw at 12.4v for the new pump at 75-80psi max fuel pressure is 16.7amps. So hopefully this will hold up

If I fry fuses or see that voltage drop is happening to below 12v at 100% duty cycle then I will upgrade the wiring

Maxed out the ID1000s (and just about everything else) with ridiculous ease.

Of course with Michael on the job your setup will be spot on.

Was this set up using the OE fuel reg?

I’m guessing no fancy parallel trickery?
