Re: Project Veloci

Postby MH3.0R » Mon Apr 15, 2013 8:24 pm

I stated in an earlier post in this thread that the HID conversion did not project evenly and at 5000k color temp, there was less light on the road than I need for driving comfortably at night. So, I swapped my original headlamp units back in until I convert the spare set of headlight units back to the original Xenon bulbs. Then I will have to set aside another day to take the front bar off for the changeover. I will eventually get the darker headlight units back in.

The rear diffuser was not approved by the missus for installation prior to the trip north, so will contemplate it during the exhaust upgrade. Debating about painting it or leaving the natural black before install.

A keen eye sir!

Yes, but they are STI valve caps. A little bit of bling but I could not resist. I also picked up some new 5 x STI centre caps, all from Japanparts.

Take another look: those are Prodrive valve caps. RIGHT?

Anyway, they'd better be the genuine $70 valve caps...

Not sure what you mean about Prodrive, but they do have STI written all over them!!!

I think they were on special, about $40 for the set. I bought two, so if you want a set the price is $100.

Meant to do that today, but by the time I finished all my other stuff, I checked the shelf and had ran out. Oh well, there's always tomorrow...
