Sweet, it's gonna take a Pro to wrap this baby!

But not impossible: did you ever checkout Bruces upholstered example?

GAUGE OVERLORD!!!

Option1:
I just realized I can hide the AEM Failsafe Wideband gauge in the dash somewhere and log it via serial to USB/Tactrix and display it via analogue output on the GT boostgauge VBG1...

Meaning a really stealth install with no PROVA vent gauge pod needed!

Option2:
Or I could uninstall the GTboost gauge...

Option3:
Keep both for gauge overload! :P

This is the sort of choice I just love to make!!!

Either way, I'm planning to connect the AEM failsafe ground to the ECU side test mode connector, once the AEM is configured properly.
Comments? Advice?

Now has anyone got their gauges dimming at all on the roller???
Worst case scenario this will be a job for a DIY voltage inverter project. BUT:
This AEM gauge has a software configurable illumination wire: 12V or ground.
Connect that to what in the cabin fuse box (or any wire) using a fused fuse or wire tap?
Preferably its got to dim when the dash is dimmed using the roller switch on the dash as I drive with my lights always on (seriously!).

GAUGE OVERLORD II

So just for fun I want to run both boost gauges concurrently.

Primarily this is to confirm if the VBG1 does read 1-2 psi "high" or is simply both accurate and super sensitive to transient boost conditions.

Can I just add another Tee to the existing vac/boost line already installed? (in effect, a serial connection?)
OR should I run a second dedicated vac/boost tube from the BOV hose? (in effect, a parallel connection?)

Keen to gauge members feedback :P
