Aw man! They have included the JDM STi speedometer with the STi logo for this release. I was planning to upgrade to this too because I think they look better than standard.

Well if that picture is anything to go by, the red outline around the speedo looks thicker and more blended in, and the red fades out to white going clockwise.

Looks like the same car from MY07 except more colour choices, Spec B Grill,STI shift knob and powered seats for both driver and passenger in the front. I have seen the MY08 in person and cant really fault it. Suprised they didnt up the power like they did the MY08 WRX STI.

here is the answer i got from Subru when i asked them about this exact issue...

With regards to your questions regarding the power output of the STI tuned MY08 Liberty GT SpecB in comparison to the STI Impreza, there are many differences between the two engines that will account for variation in power output.

The MY08 Liberty GT SpecB tuned by STI features an enhanced engine management tune that results in a 10kw gain in power and an 11Nm gain in torque over the standard Liberty GT & Liberty GT SpecB. All other engine and ancillary components remain unchanged.

The Impreza Sti however utilises Dual AVCS, modified camshafts, the turbocharger and intercooler are capable of much greater air flow and the engine management is tuned accordingly.

I then asked about the specifics of the different camshafts, turbo and intercooler, and all they replied was that these parts aren't interchangeable :lol:

My b4 has a slicker engine.. when will they really go to town on the STi?? Even the spec b should have forged internals.. it's a turbo..

Is the tyre size a mis-print?

It says 225/40/18

Should be 215/45/18 or have they gone for a 225/45/18?
