Problem is, that adds another $300-$400 to the overall cost, bringing it up to Process West TMIC money... :(

Pretty easy install.

Other members on here have also used the same kit with good results.

I have a modified version on my Forester but I put the hot side pipework between the radiator fan and the chassis rail so I could keep the factory airbox

I'm considering something like this intake then modify the shield, have to investigate if 08 WRX has the same layout. Otherwise I could just buy the intake (or similar) and make my own shield, adding a hole for the FMIC. Would then dynamat all around it to keep it quiet :assassin:

Although Matt's alternative would be even better again if it's possible :)

Once it had curved out from the turbo location to tucked down into the inner guard, it was a simple cut, tack weld some straight pipe in, 90 degree bend down, 90 degree bend once the chassis rail is clear and then 180 degree bend to intercooler. 22cm total extra pipe work and there is plenty of room in a Lib :)
