I need more info! How much is the street tune? And do you need to anything else to the car to benefit from the tune?

But that was the base tune. Matt sorted it all out and its so much better. 180kw to 210kw is a very welcomed improvement.
Most noticeable would be:
taking off without any bog down. Very quick and smooth.
3rd gear pulls like 2nd gear.
6th gear pulls from 1500rpm.
Great fuel economy.

Pinging appears to be a feature of the Kido H6 tune.![]()
The great fuel economy is most likely what's contributing to you pinging. The maps I've seen are way too lean.
Also explains the O2 sensor failures I'm seeing for the H6. EGTs too hot.
And unless you have a supercharger, headers and a few other supporting mods those power figures are highly unlikely. Matt's bum dyno appears to be a very happy one.![]()

This is an excellent article about "pinging"

They have more fuel than stock BruceTake another look, 14.7:1 from below 3200rpm in stock form which is when the O2 sensors are active yet get horrible fuel economy...
Surely you understand that?
So why do they have torque pulling from 1500rpm in 5th/6th gear when tuned if it is running lean and not pinging? 2500rpm and 4400rpm have been the two 'points' (cam map switch point and peak torque) which has been Intake Air Temp related(not enough timing pulled for intake temps) since winter was not an issue when more oxygen is in the air which makes them run leaner/colder. Tweak of the IAT to account for the heat and sorted.
Also, the O2 sensors are failing in stock form. It is a common issue... I thought you researched stuff? O2 sensors last 80,000km's, most H6's I have tuned have 120,000+ which is the case with Hoff's car.
Too lean? From your vast experience tuning NA engines? Might want to look at a 2.5i tune from a Forester or Liberty then... 14.7:1 across the WHOLE fuel map. VQ35 350Z or SR20DE Silvia has 14.7:1 until over 6000rpm.
As for the power figures... 160+Kw@wheels from manuals in tuned form and 150+ in auto. Stock MY08+ STi puts out 155/160Kw and has 220Kw@flywheel.
Brand new Hyundai i45 that I was in while in Adelaide was pinging in the heat...
