Probably still work out cheaper than Brembos. Nissan brake upgrades are dirt cheap.

You need R35 GTR spec as next brake upgrade ;)

Now thats just plain overkill. :P

The 33 setup will be more than enough for the NA 2.5.

The wrx setup was more than enough. This is overkill, but it's different.

The R33 brakes are 4/2 pot and have exactly the same size pistons and use the same pads as the WRX 4/2 pot.

The front caliper is physically larger though as the Nissan runs a thicker disc standard which allows me to run the Brembo rotors which you cant do on the WRX 4 pots. Plus the Nissan front caliper is alloy and weighs about 1/2 of the cast iron WRX one. :D

Brakes will be good for when I get bored and decide to drop a JDM V3 STi motor in. 8)

I always thought they were bigger because as stated, they physically are. Interesting....

A bit of work in the Melbourne heat.

Fitted a GC8 exhaust manifold. Direct swap over. 2.5 NA has equal length, GC8 is unequal. Finally have a little boxer note going on. :D

Out with the old.

I hold much disdain for the fake woodgrain so finally pulled my finger out and resprayed them in dark grey metallic. Auto surround wasnt necessary to spray as it'll be gone shortly but I had to have it matching.... 8)

Nearly completed the amp install. Just need to connect up the FR speaker and done. Measurements and calculations done to build a custom sub box also.

Do I spy some nice TB STi wheels there?

As always, love your attention to detail. That paint you mixed up looks bang on!

Unequal headers look good mark :D
I'm assuming then GC8 manifold will only work for gen 2's?

Crazy hot day...Note the sixer of VB in the corner.

I like faux wood grain myself, but the colormatch and craftsmanship of your work is better than factory. Hope to hear the headers sometime too!
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

How many coats of paint did you use and did you do any sort of primer or clear coat over the top? Would love to give that a go on the silver surround stuff in my car.

A light sand as theyre not plain plastic. Light coat and then heavy coat of 1K color then light coat and heavy coat of 2K clear.

The only NA the turbo manifold will bolt straight up to is the the Gen2 2.5.
