Boost noise

Postby ricco » Mon Mar 04, 2013 4:45 pm

hey guys after the cruise we went on yersterday, i got in my car today and when i went to hit boost something is wrong.

whats happening is that when i go to hit boost, it makes a weird sneeze sound, no its not the blow off, sounds like its trying to but its like a pipe loosens up... and more air comes gushing,

it also feels slower then usual...

Something has come one loose. Blow off valve return hose, intake hose, fecking dump pipe or anything.

Either get your head in the engine bay and start at the turbo and work your way around the entire induction system checking every connection . Or dump it at a mechanic and let them find it!!

It's not going to get any better if you don't try any of the things people have suggested on here or on facebook.

It is a boost leak, the air is escaping but the airflow meter adds in the right amount of fuel and pulls timing like it would expect and that makes it run rich with retarded timing so SFA power. ;)

Find the leak

Thanks mate, exact same issue!

Are there any better hoses/clamps you could use here to fix the issue once and for all?
