Black 3RB Wagon Stock 18" rims black or silver??

What's everyone's thoughts on getting the stock 18"s on a 3rb wagon powder coated black?
The rims are in average condition so I'm either going to get them fixed up and keep them silver, or get them sprayed black.

I might post a photoshopped picture a bit later!

Haha of course. Should I leave the silver trim under the doors and the roof rails, silver?

I know you can get non-chrome skirts but the roof railings would be a pain in the ass IMO.

I know a good body shop, im sure they could mask it up and spray it on the car pretty easily. Wonder how it would look all blacked out.

Absolutely not a fan of black wheels so I'm going with silver.

My MY07 is black and I think it needs the chrome/silver highlights to give the car a lift and put some definition into the body.
One of the reasons I bought the CS9's as the silver is a bit lighter than the original wheels.


If you did go full stealth black, what about vinyl wrapping the roof rails, sill trim, tailgate trim etc? Maybe satin black wrap?

Yeah if I got new wheels I'd probably get those 18" silver STI rims- not black.
I wonder what it would cost to get the silver trim wrapped- I have a mate from school that's started a business in it.
