I am not pointing fingers
Just pointing out that just because your IAM drops and the ecu is pulling timing... does not mean the engine is going to go bang. The blue in the 4th AF range was possibly the only thing that was saving it in this case.

Also, as it related to the market listed - that is determined by the ECU id. There is a standard from Subaru that jon [in CT] found a while back that allows you to identify the market by the ecu id. This is how I do it. It looks like, though, that Subaru has started to use one ROM across multiple markets (usually EDM and ADM) in the later models, so the market identified by the ecu id would be considered the "primary" market. Regardless, the market identifier in the defs does nothing. I could put bunny rabbits in there and it won't impact anything.

As chaotic pointed out, really comes down to what merchgod puts into the LV software. There is a few cars in South Africa and Asia running our ECU's as well.

LV reads the 10 digit ECU numeral, not the 8 digit code. This is why a Pulse or HPF tune can for example still be read despite the 8 digit code being altered so it is not recognised in EcuFlash

The LV is also not from P%]$€ either for those that PM'd me

The car is a MY07 Liberty H6 auto with no mods and a tune.

The O2 sensor failing emissions code throws the O2 sensor feedback out as seen by the #1 to #2 learnt variance. Only knocking where the ECU would be in closed loop under load. Adding all the timing back in when in open loop or under light load like it should.

Pretty simple answer... fix the problem with the dying O2 sensor

When my front 02 sensor failed I only had massive difference between af #1 & af #2. No dropping of iam or timing pulled. Does that mean I was fortunate and or my tune was good/safe ?

Your tune would have had no closed loop in those areas since it would have had boost Say 14.36 or richer? Plus High KCA values also do not trigger IAM changes as I patiently explained before in a previous post

Patience is the key, majority of us aren't DIY tuners so the more explained in laymans terms, the better we understand.

Getting back to that stock MY07 Liberty H6 auto. The Iam is showing 0.5938, that is becuase the ECU through the P0420 code ?

Just to confirm - that with the 2 O2 sensors on the H6 - LV reports the second in the wrong columns, as it doesnt put #2 in the first column - so everything in the lower row needs shifting 1 col to the right.
It's just that to a noob at first glance it looks like the two are WAY apart from each other when in fact they are between 1 and ~3% apart

Lib feels great, max boost is down to 17.5psi: what I was requesting for reiability/safety purposes.

Was the issue with Java causing drop outs or not letting the logger connect at all?
