Yep, original engine. It's even been tuned since 160k kms, and half the time, I'm not babying it lol. No issues at all and still drives like a dream!

I know the 08's have the R180 diff...is there anything else that the 08 has over the 07?

I didn't even know about the diff.

I was just talking from a rice point of view lol cos a 'tuned by STi' is a riced up gt-b and the 08 has extra rice like a different front grill and sill plates and other stuff that the 07 doesn't have.
