Turbo has arrived - however unfortunately the suppliers overseas provided a 4" inlet turbo instead of the 3" I ordered

The 4" won't fit in stock location

I will therefore have to go twist mount to make this work. Or I can send it back at my shipping expense and get them to replace. But judging by their tone and demeanour when I raised the error, I'm concerned they might slap together a new turbo with the 3" housing.

Need to decide whether to go twist mount. I know it will flow better and be slightly more responsive, but my driver of keeping the engine cover as I want this to be as stock looking as possible

Haha thanks Chook but that's way too much work

Leo - will my stock cover fit with a twist mount setup you think?

Even if it needs to be modded slightly I don't mind, but want this as stock looking as possible

Thanks Leo

Man that would suffocate the poor motor! It's gonna have a hard enough life as it is under my driving style don't want it to choke

I think Al and A&M has done a few low mounts. Would have jigs and whatnot for an easy fab job. A bit of a drive from Sydney town though.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

Yeowwwww twist mount.
Congrats on the turbo :).
Gt30? Or gt35?

Your stealing my idea with running a 4" intake twist mount and trimming the engine cover to fit.

Done right and it will look porn having a 4" twist mount coming out the engine cover.

Can't wait to see Mick :).
