Turbo boost controller

Postby ianr64 » Tue Dec 18, 2012 7:50 pm

Hi, I am new to the Liberty world but love the car. I have done my exhaust and dyno tune but would now like to know how to change the standard boost controller to a manual one. Could someone please tell me (or picture) where the standard one is located and what is a good after market controller. I have also fitted a new Turbo Smart BOV in place of the stock one so more boost can be achieved. Any advise would be great.

Leave the factory boost controller, the ECU has full closed loop boost control in the stock ECU as part of the dyno tune

Hi Matt,
Can more boost be achieved through tuning with the standard ECU. My Liberty is an MY05 GT Auto

Yes, the ECU is fully tuneble for adding more boost etc :) Decent power gains to be made
