Super fine sandpaper on an orbital sander has always worked for me. Like 2000 grit

This is probably the best out there.

http://www.festool.com.au/mediandoweb/i ... KTIVPROD=1

Combined with some of this.

http://www.idealtools.com.au/festool/sa ... hing-agent

Not fancy advertising but better than anything I've used.

Cheers

They are useless. They are more of a wax applicator, than a polisher. They do not spin fast enough to remove any scratches, and you are left scrubbing away with elbow grease to remove the scratches it claims to remove.

Personally, i use a DAS6-Pro, and have had exceptional results. Here are some parts from my old STi and a mates Forester which i painted and detailed using the DAS6-Pro.

After:

Forester Spats - Self painted - wet sanded vs Polished. Just POLISH. No wax yet..

Yep those wax attack polishers are just time cutters. I have one and its for the fact that I can do a quick cleaner wax in about 40min start to finish. By hand it's double that!! And I'm toast after!!!

Edit ** you have some skills btw!!! Very nice work!!
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??

Just saw this thread after hitting the button on a DAS6-Pro from CCP. Judging by the pics, I haven't made a mistake! Ended up buying a pack with a few different pads in it, and adding a few smaller pads for the pillars etc.
Any tips for a first timer?
