Back in Australia. Picked my cams up from my mates place. Just waiting on the bottom end to turn up at the shop now.
Anyone have any advice on valve springs and retainers?

Confirmed that ej205 valve springs will work. However for safety sake I would go with aftermarket double valve springs to suit ej257 dual avcs heads which will also fit and titanium retainers

Brian crower, cosworth, performance springs Australia and tomei make these

I should also add this time was done a base tune, so I am happy. I had wanted to get a 12.something and 110+ mph done on the 2.0, but it looks like it isn't to be.
So many people asked about what was done to it last night, each time I replied it had a $49 turbosmart bleed valve and that was it. The number of people who walked away satisfied with that answer was alarming. With a bit of luck, sales of second hand liberties and turbosmart bleed vavles my go up.

LOL! You're a classic. Good time man, like we said in the other thread it's also putting on a lot of speed in the back end! I think you can definitely squeeze more out of your 60ft time don't you think? Fuck the gearbox...

A quick audit of the rear foot well revealled 14 dollars in gold coins which must have slid back during the 12 launches I did.
I do think the is something left in the launch, but every time I launched hard I would miss a gear, my brain was already across the line. One run I missed 5th. Coasted across the line, 13.2 at 96. Would have been a 12 for sure.

Damn I want to come to your strip! 12 runs! I only got 4 or 5 last night I think, and last time I went I only got 7

It was awesome. Hardly anyone there. It degenerated into grude racing. Waiting in the staging lanes for someone you want to race. I chopped many evos.

It better be, if he's going to keep driving like that on a base tune.

So, I got back from PNG this afternoon. Picked up my car, went to get fuel and my friendly eflex vendor has no power, and hasn't had for days. I coasted down the road to the nearest servo and put 10L of 98 in.
This ex tropical cyclone just got real.
