Good work Rome!!

Yeh that's pretty much how I reasoned it out in my post, that split second loss of power and momentum would make a huge difference to the time I recon! Also, here is an explanation of what happened on that particular run:

I launched hard, but didn't press the shifter up until 6000rpm, but by that stage, the computer had already decided it was going to shift itself into 2nd, so once it hit 7200rpm (my rev limit), the power cut happened, then it shifted itself into 2nd, and then it registered that I had upshifted as well so it almost immediately shifted me into 3rd, at about 5500rpm, so I lost almost 2000rpm of 2nd gear because of that as well as the power cut in 1st!

I wonder if 235s are making any difference in your 60ft times, in terms of getting it out of the hole...also, what pressure do you run your tyres at when you're down there?

Then you need to start the weight reduction game! No back seats, all door trims gone, light weight wheels, carbon fiber body. Do eeeet!

Also I was running my coilovers on 4 firmness in the front and 2 in the rear (5 settings, 1 is softest).

Thoughts?

Maybe 2 rear 2 front? The only reason I say this is that front and rears will be getting identical power at the wheels.

Yeh true, but the idea is that you want power transfer to the rear. That is the gospel according to Mick
