Liberty Join Card

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

Personally i don't think it should say anything at all aside from the forum URL and maybe a picture/logo.
"Nice ride", "Nice car", "Nice Liberty".... sorry, but lame as a dead horse.

Very rude of me to say so without contributing a design, i would if i had time

Is the plan to have these printed or print your own?

+1

As for "keeping costs down" that keeps getting mentioned... why persist with the idea of embossing then?

I'm getting a quote for 300 embossed double sided business cards. Will holla.

On a side note, the outcome of this entire thread is dependant on Ric. It's his baby and his call, copyright and all

I'm easy, it's nice to have others contribute.
I would suggest we just put "club.liberty.asn.au" on the card, not "forum.liberty.asn.au".
That lets them see the front page first, and will bring them straight into the forum next.

i.e. club.liberty.asn.au

Something to consider:

If someone asked me to join a forum, i wouldn't

if someone asked me to join an fb site related to a forum.. I would. It's just way easier via FB. people already have an account there, they don't need to make one.

And I'm +1 for single sided black and white (but I personally think a little message like "Nice Liberty" or Nice Ride" is nice. it's what we are about... we don't wanna sound too formal or anything, at the end of the day it should be inviting and fun...

Nice ride, or Nice liberty, no matter how tack it is, is still a nice compliment to receive about your car...

my 2c. Can't wait to get these cards! :p

^ disagree. FB is annoying as hell. The forum is way more informative and eaiser to keep track of without most of the FB crap.

Can get 1000 double sided matte finish business cards for $125 (not embossed).

Yeah some people feel that way about forums though? Maybe both address on the card will mean we get a good blend of both?

ALSO:
this may seem a little crazy but,

why don't we just create a template with the right size that we can print and cut out ourselves...

that way, we'd only ever have to pay for our own paper and ink when we print them.

they an still look pretty effective if we use thicker printing paper?

we could have 8 - 12 per page (not sure how many would fit)

but if you allow enough bleed room it'll give us plenty of room to cut it?

Ricco reminds me of that normally anyway

Oh, and in regards to directing people to the Facebook group instead of the forums... The forums is the main part, the Facebook group is an added, optional extra. If you prefer Facebook, that's fine, but the forums are the core bit here.
