Postby mistergTrx » Thu Oct 25, 2012 5:43 pm

hi, just wondering where abouts i would find the switch for the temp sensor that activates the fans
i have a 1992 subaru liberty that isnt switching the fans on, ive replaced the thermostat, relays have been checked, checked for leaks
but still the engine gets hot and the fans only come on when i bridge the connectors

thank you

The temp switch is behind the powersteering pump. It's bolted into the crossover pipe and not the easiest to reach.
Built not bought, it's a way of life.

thanks for the info, yeah the c.e.l has been playing up, previous owner never bothered to check anything to do with the light (so could even be blown)
