Airbag suspension in a Liberty - what are your thoughts?

Alright so to all of you that straight away think this is stupid and dicky, I somewhat agree.

After being around cars with bags quite frequently, I've come to love them! They are actually pretty sweet.
My plan is to, buy a commodore wagon as a project car within a few months, and to have my liberty as my good, weekend car that isn't driven much to minimise kilometres etc.

I've had a hard think, I'm not sure whether it would be worth it but putting bags in a liberty?

Has it been done? Yay or nay?

Fair enough it sounds like what some young and naive idiot would do on his piece of crap, but realistically it seems pretty cool! Let me know what you all think.

My good friend has them in his commodore wagon and his dad in his show car which is a Holden commodore vn which is so amazing. It's about 1500 for everything and if I would get them to fit them. As they both did there cars.

Professionally done around 2000+. They are sooooooo much fun too but yeah defiantly something different for the liberty gang.

I'd say if you want them and are willing to spend the cash (and potentially lose your spare tyre from what I have seen) do it.

I think they look pretty cool.
Way easier than adjusting coilover height.

i was under the impression that it cost a lot lot more...bag setup in a friends golf was 6-7k i think

Fourlex have you priced all the parts? The air struts alone are more than 1500 for the set of four. Plus compressor or 2, tank, lines, actuator, valves, switch box plus other little bits.
I looked into it and totaled about 3200 just for parts, was going to fit myself though.

Hey hey yeah I've priced it all. Like I said I have a few friends that have it done in there cars, front and back. To install it yourself it's around 2000 for EVERYTHING depending on what size tanks and quality of parts you get. Because they have an auto salon at there house they install all there stuff, there cars are amazing

And you can buy them second hand which is even cheaper. We have a guy in the hunter who does the installs as well and gets all the parts cheap!

They would wanna be awesome bags for that price! On a golf sounds pretty neat though. But that is a bit much for some bags IMO.

Google images or videos, I have seen maybe 3 liberties up your way with them 2 gen 4 wagons and a gen 4 sedan. The sedan is 2 tone I think orange over silver with blue pinstripe

I would do it if it only cost 2g but with all the laws you have to comply with a set up is worth about 4+g...
Set up total cost $3200 that's best price I got for supply only
$1500 the control unit to stop laying out or dropping while car is driving
$500-800 engineering depending on who you go to
That's all personal labor

For a profession shop to do it your looking around 7+ grand engineered
