Sti style frt lip spoiler

Postby ndlibgt » Sat Sep 15, 2012 3:31 pm

Just fitted my STI style frt lip spoiler (again Kudos to Bosco for organising the group buy :clapping:)
My question is should the join line on the lip actually line up with the edge of the bumper bar?

If this isn't right can anyone suggest how to fix.
Thanks in advance

Is the lip flexible in anyway? You could just mould it a bit with a heat gun or good hair dryer, or maybe just screw it?
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

No thats pretty much how it is.

Get some amorall on it and its hardly noticeable. Is it sitting right up flat under the bumper?

I guess that's why it's less than half the price of the original

Yep used 4 pan head screws with speed nuts (as recommend by Bosco) across the centre section & the four self tapers that came with the lip, 2 on each of the side. & of course OEM clips.

Sorry for the hijack, I don't want to pay retail for an sti lip.
Been looking on Import monster, does anyone know if I should be looking at bl/bp lip or bp5?
I have a 07 gtb.
Cheers

BL/BP is the chassis code.. Nothing to do with which lip you require.

Send 'bosc0' a message, we have recently done a group buy for the lip you require and i'm fairly sure the supplier has a few left.
