Tomei fuel regulator, 2004 GT installation???

Postby robwayfromoz » Fri Sep 07, 2012 1:36 pm

Hi all,
I installed a Sard 265 fuel pump and want to install the Tomei reg. Looking in the engine bay, the standard fuel reg has the vacuum hose, one to tank and two to the motor. The Tomei only has a vac. plus two - in and out.
Can anyone let me know what to do to install this?
Experienced comments or link to info is much appreciated.
regards

Rob

The 04 Gt has what could be confused as two return lines on the regulator - will take some pics tomorrow and throw them up to show which one it should be going to

Digging up and old thread.

According to that pic, there seems to be 2 lines red and 2 blue lines. From what I can tell most regs only have a single in and a single return. Does anyone have a diagram of how to connect the GT to a regulator. Was thinking of getting a turbosmart 1200 FPR.

The (A) part is actually a fuel pressure dampner. Leave it in place and put FPR on the blue line :) The vacuum line then goes to the new FPR

Purdy3.0RB can post up pics of how we did his hopefully
