Postby bigBADbenny » Sat Sep 08, 2012 7:10 pm

Wanted to Buy:
(here's my FS list)

WTB: Perring silicone inlet PSP-INT-421BK - Black

I can part exchange for an AVO black silicone inlet, reason being the Perrin is more suited to a stock PCV system.

Polk MM840 sub and amp with line level inputs to drive 2 polks evil plan for maxxx basss

I can swap for a Polk DB840...

WTB: Charcoal Alcantara - just a wee bit required for gear boot and console lid :)
Or a few meters of charcoal and black Warick Macrosuede.

WTB: composite side feed TGV deletes for sidefeed fuel rails (different rail mount spacing to topfeed style)

WTB: innovate oil temp and pressure gauge.
Let me know if you have one spare :)

WTB: 1x Rim 17 x 7.5 +53 offset or less (to clear Brembos preferably, not essential) to use as a spare so any RW condition.

WTB: Innovate WBO2 tailpipe bracket I have some sensors that need checking and calibrating...

WTB: Forge Motorsport billet IWG actuator and springs

WTB: Stock Macintosh PF-28241 Headunit for an MY07 >BROKEN< but with the fascia/hvac buttons intact.
I want to have fun reconditioning the fascia of my HU ;)

WTB: DEI titanium exhaust and header wrap: available from a vendor in Vic (Eagle Auto Parts) or maybe buy in bulk in the USA?

WTB: DEI Ti wrap qty: Headers: 2-3 x 1"x50' rolls. Up, dump & mid: 2 x 2"x50' rolls. (qty subject to a little more research)

WTB: DEI reflect-a-gold tape: available from a vendor in Vic or maybe buy in bulk in the USA via my contact there?

WTB: TMIC waterspray nozzles, check valves tee's and water pipe

WTB: Woven stainless steel intercrimp mesh

WTB: R180 plated rear diff low priority

My FOUND list :)

WTB: TRay and I need some postFL HID headlight parts if you see any smashed examples. TRay needs a ballast, and I need a low beam HID D2S plug with a little wiring attached, please :)
Both for LHS but that probably doesn't matter at all, we are both located in Melbourne...

So I have a couple of broken spare headlights if anyone is looking for parts...

WTB: ID1000's Thanks Dazz!

WTB: broken or faulty top feed injector/s I just want the plug where the loom plugs in... (bought ID adapters to use instead)

FOUND: I bought T1 side feed conversion rails : AVO top feed fuel rails and parallel lines kit.

FOUND: Spare Stock 6mt flywheel becoming a priority!
Just need a changeover flywheel to minimize hoist time when I do my clutch replacement.

FOUND: 2.5T MAF sensor any condition: the airflow sensor can be damaged but the temp sensor (brown bulb on the outside) needs to work.

Watching with interest, just missed out on a Prova "O" for $400 and a GT-Spec for $325, both on Nasioc.
Vendors price is almost fair, given it's BNIB, but it's not exactly a bargain.

These re-wrapped wheels look nice and are only $350 (with core return) not inc. shipping, but I like the smaller diameter wheels even more.

sti is a whole unit mechanism, the others just replace the stick to affect throw/leverage. cobb/mode/prova are all identical from memory. best bet for them is rallysportdirect.
sti shifter hit up the phatman@garage88, i know hes got one in stock at least, its on display at the shop :)
theres threads on here discussing pros + cons of the two options

either way youll be regretting not doing it sooner

steering wheels, i was asking phat about them in person at the shop the other week, DAMD ones were looking at about $650-750 iirc

Can you throw up a pic or two please G. Like to see how it looks in the Liberty.

Benny, maybe you should try for a group buy on the COBB shifter and bushings

They're only $170 from the USA!
Apart from a few fitment issues a while back (handbrake cable) and some ning nongs having the adjustment bolts work loose (!) I can't find any major negatives...
I tried Penga's STi sts a while ago - it was almost too notchy and stiff, so maybe just do the shifter for now :D

Yeah was thinking replacement stock bushing might be the go.

I have about 1" of tight play in gear, it's not too bad.

It's the very occasional mis shift I'm looking to mitigate...

Can anyone identify the model of WRX in the pic?

Vendor says the wheel is for BL/BP(A-C), GD/GG(E-G), SG(C-F)...

I need one for GR/GV, GH, SH, YA, BL/BP D- ...

The mis shift is resolved by the use of the kartboy pitch stop mount and the STI GroupN tranny mount.

Also the STI short shift is by far the best one about. Better than an upgrade of bushes etc on your current or Cobb or Kartboy variants.
