Having an ambulance would turn out ok in the case I roll over and get a pole through my neck or tear my arm off or something.

No issues on the update! :D

Anyone know what the deal is with the windscreen? I was unfortunate enough to get a chip yesterday which developed into a crack that grew overnight :angry2: I get a free one with AAMI but I don't want to get it before track day if I don't have to. It's real low right near the dash and on the drivers side.

I'm in the same boat. My windscreen has two chips in it

Ive been to the drags a couple of times without any dramas but maybe that's cos it was darker (later at night)

If this is a problem will get it replaced ASAP

I think the general rule of thumb is if the crack is at eyesight level and right in the line of sight between you and the road, replace it. if its not, it should be fine :)

but dont hold me to it.

for roadworthy, any crack longer than 15cm won't get passed is what my mechanic told me a couple of weeks back.

Is there still space for 1 more car? I have a friend that want to come. Is it ok that he has a Lancer?

Yes there is, 1 spot remaining, and yes it's fine that he has a lancer :) He will have to organise payment preferably by this week though as there are 2 maybes who haven't confirmed yet. One of them is a Club Liberty member so if your friend is 100% I'll have to confirm with him first as preference goes to Club Liberty members!

So I was originally going to use my moto x helmet and just take the visor off.

Jut making sure! Is ADR approved additional to the DOT and AUS standards ticks...??

Dont reallllly want to go buy another helmet... I hardly use the moto one as it is.

Someone with more experience is going to have to answer that question...worse comes to worse you can hire one on the day but I suggest bringing one of those disposable hairnets!
