Custom Exhaust Specialists System

Postby -=HaZ=- » Fri Aug 24, 2012 8:38 pm

Hi Guys,

Got the car back today from CESRacing.com.au. This is my 4th car, I have had Trevor from CES work on, suffice to say I am extremely pleased with his work. His custom exhausts ALWAYs make the numbers, pass all the legalities(noise and OEM fit) and are built with exceptionally high standards.

I have enclosed a URL with the pics of the system with comments attached on some pics. :o

Nice mate. Does the waste gate pipe join back to the exhaust right down the bottom of the dump pipe?
Looked like it did on the pic.

May I ask how much that custom exhaust set you back?
As sometimes custom jobs are cheaper that aftermarket ones and sometimes they are stupidly expensive.

Yes the wastegate pipe merges at the bottom of the turbine exhaust pipe, with the two separated by by a custom flange directly between the two outlets from behind the turbo. If you want more detailed pics, go to the cesracing.com.au website; Trevor pretty much 'invented' the twin dump pipe here in Australia.

You can ask....how much..... :) I don't think it was expensive but then again I have been going to him for years. $2900

Nice. Must sound good when the waste gate opens. Would sound better with a ball bearing turbo :p.
Yea 3 grad is on the higher end but nothing over the top for what looks like a well made turbo back exhaust.

Feel free to do a exhaust video. Would love to hear how it sounds.

It sounds really nice, no drowning etc, quite raspy with a nice bark but not too loud. Its already got a ball bearing turbo, which was rebuilt and hi-flowed at http://www.gcg.com.au with a MRT Cross Flow Intercooler installed with a Spearco Core.

I am about to order:

Cobb Tuning Intake Box suit Subaru Liberty 05-09

and

Hypertec Silicon Turbo Inlet suit 04-06 Liberty

and then have it retuned at Chip Torque....car has already been tuned with an Ezy-Flash tuned rom by Chip Torque.

Nice little turbo upgrade then mate :). May I suggest a upgraded fuel pump and injectors not sure what numbers your going for but If it's into the 200's then a fuel pump and injectors will help alot.

Already has an upgraded AVO 260L/HR drop in replacement fuel pump and Turbo Smart fuel regulator. The tuner Lachlan at Chip Torque says there is enough flow for now in the injectors. I will see how it goes first.
