Advice for lowered suspension??

Postby fatboy » Sat Aug 25, 2012 10:54 am

Hey guys,

I'm just about to purchase my 2007 Liberty MY08 Premium wagon, it has 18" STI wheels.
I was told this model Liberty comes standard with Billstein suspension??
I don't have much knowledge on this topic so any advice or tips would be much appreciated :)
It sits high and I want to have it lowered atleast an inch or two without spending too much??,
Would this mean I have to have the Billstein suspension removed and replaced??
I would also need my guards rolled, can anyone recommend anywhere in Sydney??
Thanx :)

Hi there
Congrats on your purchase. By Bilsteins they are referring to the shock and strut assembly these can stay on dependant upon condition. A set of lowered springs would achieve the outcome your after. Don't quote me on price and others here will be able to give you more accurate figure but I would say $300-$500 for a set. Hope this helps.

A set of replacement springs, Teins come to mind from PhatGT and with the Liberty STi wheels, there's no need to roll the guards as the offset of them means they come no where near the guards when lowered.
