Yeah it's been fun converting this thing from a boring, 04 Gt base model, auto to what it is now and what it will hopefully be when I'm done

Still a fair few things I'm not happy about but hopefully will get to it all shortly

There's no denying it is totally unique and allot of time, planning and effort has gone into it......I'm sure it will be a beast in no time! 8)

Ok tried fitting leather interior out of the facelift today - didn't work need to change the entire harness over which I cbf doing right now until I do the manual conversion.

Also did some logging today. Car won't hit more than 16.3psi of boost for some reason. This is in fourth gear at 4500rpm (couldnt go past this as didmt wanna speed). First was getting to about 12psi, second hit about 14 then spiked to 15.5 just before gear change, and then yeah short shiftedthird to fourth to see what it was pulling. Did this about six or seven times and same thing (runs 2 to 7 were done on rolling start from about 50kmh in second).

IAM is sitting at 0.8 which is obviously down on the 1.0 multiple so it seemslike it's knock correction.

I still don't think this will be halting boost from climbjng though

Thoughts?

Been a while since update but first post has now been updated

Had my ewg plumbed back today, which means i can now enjoy the car without being heard eight blocks away :)

Hoping for a good result with the upcoming tune by matt on 14/08 for both 98 and e85

At the moment trying to finish the stereo install over the coming few days

Coilovers are in and loving it !

Started ordering parts for my forged 2.5 build which should hopefully be finished by summer

Then going to drop this in early next year with the 6 speed and aim for some serious power (300atw plus)

in the meantime going to try enjoy the car for what it is and visit the drag strip after my retune for a run

Track day on 14th September should also put the new suspension bits to the test, and maybe by then I might have some more suspension goodies in there ;)

Got my wheel alignment done today by Jax Liverpool - highly recommend kieran and the boys there

3 deg camber front. 2.5 rear, 1.5mm toe front, 2 mm rear

Handling is completely transformed now and absolutely loving it.

Also loaded matts first revision and my first thoughts are wow!

Throttle response is awesome and full boost is arriving slightly earlier

Will post some logs tonight to show the full picture

Now I can't wait for the e85 tune next week :)

How good does the steering feel now.... perfect amount of weight, right??

Just keep an eye on the inside shoulder of your tyres with that crazy camber set up and steer clear of pots holes of any size.

So fixed my faulty ballast today on drivers side headlight - man what a mission to pull apart this headlight!

Good thing is I finally got around to fitting my new bumper bracket on the driver side which was broken. Bumper now sits flush

Tracked down and hopefully fixed a boost leak too, in readiness for my e85 tune on Tuesday

Changing plugs tomorrow just to be safe.

Given I'm going to be pretty much done with power mods for a while after my tune (until the forged motor and 6 speed go in early next year), seeking some opinions on cosmetic mods to do.

Before anyone suggests them, the following will never make their way onto my car:

- stripes or stickers of any sort (other than the club lib one)
- eyelids
- fluffy dice
- neon lights

Each to their own but I'm not a fan of any of the above

Was thinking the following in order:

- number plate relocation with plate surrounds / holders
- sunroof from the parts car seeing as no one wants it and I'm looking to scrap the shell soon
- side skirts of some sort (nothing too ricey)
- colour coded mud flaps (have the mud flaps already)
- auto folding / heated mirrors mod per leo's page
- car pc
