I would be more than interested in a group buy was to occur.

So in terms of getting a cheaper price for the unit its not gunna happen....
We will save on postage though.... I am keen for one but ive gotta wait till after September/start October until i can start blowing my money on the car again.
So if people are keen i would be ready to buy/ October/November.

Are there any other discrete looking gauges that can be hidden without fu**ing with the dash

Similar to what I got. Although I didn't realise postage was free to Aus. Figured that would've only covered America.

Aren't they all electronic anyway? The gauges have controllers which I'm guessing reads the boost and sends the signal to the gauge, electronically. Plus you can do a lot more like see boost peaks and car voltage on these

I Wasn't aware of the electic controller, I thought it was tubing running from the turbo and the gauge reads it mechanically ( just like aviation gauges/instruments)

Do you ever need to get these things re-calibrated??
If so is it a complex task??

Too much work to run a pressurized tube into the car just for a gauge. Almost all the off the shelf gauges you can buy are electronically controlled. Highly doubt calibration would be required after a period of time. End of the day they may have a small amount of error but its nothing major that will affect the car.

In regard to a forum member getting one and giving a detailed demo, search the forum as Clarence (tangcla) had one and made a thread about it with youtube vids etc.

Many members on this forum run the gtboostgauge with no problems and hassles...aka brainy / 3rspecb

I have just bought the new type and will be installing it soon, 15-30min job ...piss easy job

The gtboostgauge runs off a tube/hose input like any other mechanical gauge and then displays it electronically in real time....has many features and look and works awesome.....

Unlike a ecudatascanner which runs of the obd II port via SSM module

Too much work to run a pressurized tube into the car just for a gauge. Almost all the off the shelf gauges you can buy are electronically controlled.

About 90% of the boost gauges on the market are mechanical in which a tube is plugged straight into the back of the gauge. Even if it's an electronic gauge (like a defi) a tube is still pulled thru the firewall and plugged into mechanical/electric converter unit so it's the same amount of effort anyway.
