Not sure if this has been discovered by anyone else but a mate sent it to me and I thought it was worth sharing.
Some great vintage shots of older F1 and racing. It goes forever. I love old stuff like this.

Love it! It's great seeing how things have changed over time.

I saw this a while ago, a bit of dim view on the history of car racing. Yet seeing how things have changed since is great.

Speedhunter have posted some classic F1 snaps lately.

Check out the visual inspection technic of the intake manifold, a few pics down.

Man I'd love to have a go in one of those.
The six wheelers look nuts but I reckon the grip would be immense.

The guy without the ear muffs is a nutjob. Those things would be so loud.

Iv'e seen that doco too. Totally insane how risky it was. But it was more exciting back then.
Have you seen the Senna film?

I think that’s the same doco that has footage of a Italian driver smoking during a re-fuelling pit stop….. seconds later his gets showered by over flowing fuel….. and still continues to smoke.

They show also showed footage of drivers being given scotch to drink during a pit spots.

Yet to see the Senna movie/doco
