Thanks matt - that's the answer I was hoping for! Can't wait for my tune

And thanks for the permission slip mark - don't worry there won't be a repeat of the occurrences earlier in this thread :)

Well, update time!

I had another tuning session with Matt last weekend and have been driving around all week and the auto shifts from 2-3rd are definitely getting better. Not perfect yet, but about a 50-75% improvement - close. All other shifts are silky smooth and quick.

Anyway, power delivery feels good and strong but not sure of any dyno numbers yet. Will get around to that later. What I did discover today was just how good the tune from Matt is on the fuel economy front. Did a round trip to Bendigo and back via the Calder Hwy and achieved 7.2 l/100kms. Not sure if this is precise as my injectors have changed from stock to STI Blue 550's and according to Matt the injector duty cycle is about 50% compared to stock so I double the reading on the display to get an approximate fuel economy. The display was reading 3.6 l/100k so I figure the double it to get the corrected figure. When the car was new I once got 7.8 but never ever was able to achieve that again. So with the power I currently have combined with the auto tune, and now some decent economy, man, I am in Liberty heaven! :D

Mark how close are you to maxing out the injector duty cycle?

Base injector pulsewidth is 50% of stock :as twice the fuel flows :)
Trip meter uses inj pulse so if your injectors double, the fuel trip meter halves

Six 552cc injectors on 70% IDC, convert to E85, lean out the mixtures a little plus use E for chemical intercooling(maybe a small boost increase too!) 20% power gain easily and 240kw@wheels tarmac terror :)
