Okay, I wont.
5 speed is fine if you were wondering. I just go overboard when fixing clutches.

Yeah, awesome prices on the driveline gear dude, but I just think it is overkill for my little wagon.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

Gearbox, clutch, flywheel, diff and tail shaft are in. Reports are that the gearbox conversion is the best money I have spent so far, and goes a long way to rectifying the car's 2.0 with a biggish turbo power delivery. The closer ratios mean that it no longer falls off boost between gears, the new clutch obviously means it doesn't slip when it comes on boost. My mate who currently has it (and has driven it quite a lot) loves it.
So, what now, do I bother with an e85 tune?

Or an E85 patch to run either fuel as and when you want.

Balls when you need it

And a mangina for the rest of the time..

While we are at it:

does a one legged duck swim in circles?
Are the Kennedy's gunshy?

Twin tune sounds like a great option.

I was thinking about this today, and i think I might just drive it for a while. Fix a few cosmetic things, add an AFR gauge and amass a few more parts for a 2.5 build in the future.

Took it out to willowbank last night. Best time was a 14.0 at 103. So, It seems the more money I spend the slower it gets. That time was with a 2.4 60, hitting the limiter in 2nd and crossing the line bouncing off the limiter in 4th. I ran 2 2.0 60's, but both times I missed third. The good news is with 6 speed is I did 6 runs lauching between 4000 and 6000 rpm, sometimes leaving the line with all 4 wheels spinning and nothing broke, a feat that the 5 speed would not have managed. Just some points to note (and only some will get this), with the vf34, the car was 80mph at half track and trapped 100, so it put on 20mph in the deep end. With the fancy 20g 5 speed and tune number one it was 81 at half track and 105 through the traps. Finally, with the last tune and 6 speed it was 76mph at half track and 103 on the limiter (so prolly would have been 105+ but 103 is the number on the slip) which by my maths is 27mph in the deep.
With the six speed, coil overs and new bushes it is amazing to drive through the hills now. Never in the wrong gear, and can exit 2nd gear corners with wheels spinning. Good times.

Missing 3rd is the very reason I got the Kartboy pitch stop mount and the STI Group N transmission mount. Do it....

If you can't wait and need to have it ASAP then get it from here. He has one of each left.

Or save about $25 and look on ebay via US sellers.
