King Low Springs on MY06 3.0R GEN4

Hey all,

I thought someone may find this info useful.

I had my King Lows fitted, this is day two and is recommended to wait 7 days to let them settle in.

Handling: (coupled with HD sway bars and endlinks) is soooo sooo soooooo much better, barely any body roll.
Ride height: is perfect in my eyes as i can still park up against the concrete blocks at the front of car parks without hitting my lip, doesn't scrape below the car nor on the tyres. There is abit of bumsag but so does the stock springs so it doesn't bother me
Stiffness: is far from uncomfortable however i have not compared to coilovers.

Will let y'all know if anything changes over the next few days as they settle in

Just confirming, that's with billies isnt it?

I've got front and rear Whiteline swaybars, rear end links and rear AVO mounts.. so a very similar setup to yours as long as you are running billies..

Whoops should of mentioned this is WITHOUT billie struts (just the stock black ones)

No worries will report back in a week, I got the rears for $142 new and the fronts for $49 second hand great condition. $192 to drop her a cm or two = winning!!

Are the springs the update 2012 Kings?
They make a big deal out of their big spring technology/metallurgy upgrade/advances.

A little bit of trivia for you (below).

I was speaking to a MRT performance workshop guy about lowering my Gen 5 Liberty GT. He said, I would be better fitting just lowered springs and wouldn't bother with coil overs.

The trivia bit now - When I asked what brand of spring they would use to lower my car, he replied 'King Springs'. Went on to say that they had improved heaps and said springs and swaybars would be best for improved handling.

Oh that's always good to know! I think i prefer my coilovers though.
