Hi guys would like a copy but am a newby,can some one help me out with what i need to do to get the upgrade? As mine is 07.
p.s the info from this site helped me buy our car ,so very big thanks to all, happy wife happy life.

Have a look at page one it tells you about which version you need... I am guessing you need C1 so jump on the list of the disc's going around and see how you go... If it's C2 then there is the torrent file going about plus other options are starting up.

OK, so it tells me the torrent is 100% downloaded, but "Windows has encountered a problem" when trying to copy it onto the CD drive to burn. The file is 3.2gb, so any tips on how to actually burn this to disc ?

I'm using a new blank DVD+RW disc.

EDIT: Opened Nero and burned OK, but screen appears blank in the car - any clues ?

Which car dow you have?? Have a look at page 1 and see which version you need... You maybe downloading C2 but need C1. If you need C1 but from the torrent you will have C2 which will never work... Again if want C1 then jump on list of C1's going about.

Thanks Cheddar for the iso. I have downloaded (after 3 days of trying) and commited to DVD+R, works well.
If there is anyone else that would like to have a copy of the working disc, please let me know and supply your details.
I will do about 6 or so copies and send on to the first requests. Hopefully, the recipients will do the same and share around.....Regards.

Any tips on how to burn the disc? Settings to tick/select? Finalise disc etc?

I used ISODisk to make the ISO (image is only 3148Mb) then Nero to burn it (just open up ISO file with nero). Default settings should be fine (it should be "disc at once" which will automatically finalize the disc). However, I like to burn these at a lower speed (I used 4x which is slowest it'll go)... further reduces chances of errors. I used a Verbatim DVD-R and disc I made has been running fine in my car for the last 3 days.

I've got another disc here and have msg'd victripper... he should get the disc by end of tomorrow at the latest, so if you guys do meet/greets, he's the man to see (I don't actually have a liberty, I just stumbled into this forum).

I'll also keep the seeding going as long as there are downloads... best times would be 01:00 to ~21:00 (I'm often on the computers in the evening.. like right now!) But even my "best" is only ~100kB/s upload, so please be patient.

C1. It's just hard to meet up with people. I'll make a few copies and leave them my car. Travel to Williamstown from Lysterfield weekdays. Happy to drop off or meet along the way, as long as it's not too far out of the way. That or leave in my letterbox.

I can try and make a torrent, just haven't done it before.
