Just wondering can you tune out the drive by wire delay, and the anti stall crap on a MY05 3.0rb?

Also when you’re in Sydney, will the tuning be done on a dyno?

And what other benefits have you got from tuning a 3.0rb any of these become more fuel efficient?

I can organise a dyno out at Ingleburn at additional charge if required :)

Yes, I specialise in DBW and the stall issue is actually the ignition timing values(long story but my idle never varies more than 25rpm either side of target, even with A/C on :)

Can vouch for this! Was playing around after my tune, just observing idle and was abit shocked that it was so perfect!!!

I just tuned an STi in Brazil on E100 fuel, Kelford Dual AVCS cams with a Dom3 and the idle is a solid 1000rpm. Owner actually wanted be to upset the idle so he could get some angry cam lope into the idle haha

So who had a KiDo tune in Melbourne?

I got my car tuned by Matt. Car feels very good and is making great power with no knock and minimal correction of AFR's.

I did have a boost leak with the throttle body to intercooler hose popping off at the intercooler side to hinder progress, but once that was sorted the map loaded by Matt is very good.

Performance is definitely up from my previous tune and with only a little niggle/stutter at WOT the car feels very strong with the turbo spooling very early and I have full boost of 18psi at 3000RPM. I should be getting a map update tonight to correct the stutter and once that's complete I reckon I'll be a very happy boy.

Can't wait for Matt to update my map with the per gear WGDC to enable full boost at 18psi in first gear to really suck you back into your seat at take off.

Also a very interesting guy to talk to and really knows his stuff.

I also like how Matt tailors DBW settings to suit individual tastes and is very customer centric. He listens and delivers. Too good.

Thanks again Matt for a great tune and an excellent learning experience.

Met up with a H6 Liberty 5EAT customer yesterday afternoon which was one of the rare ones that had an undefined ROM file... wrote a new definition from scratch in 30 minutes to enable a tune to be performed. All of the AVCS cam tables in all the H6 ROM's I have on file been found but more importantly... the VVL tables, fuel pump duty tables along with being able to delete the rear O2 sensors influence on the tune which is a MUST if you have any exhaust modifications!

Hi Matt,
I am really keen on having a tune done to my 3.0rb when you come to Sydney, but I have a few renovation projects happening this weekend which I’m waiting on people to call and get back to me. Is it possible if I can call you a day prior and see if we can fit a tune in on one of the days you’re here?

They're all to busy buying that last aftermarket part to chuck on before the tune to end all tunes is applied.

I got my stock GT lib tuned! It is actually giving me second thoughts on modding it performance wise as it goes soo much better with the tune!

Some of our customers are getting retuned and loving it. I was sitting in the back seat of a customers Forester XT yesterday while Matt tuned it. It had previously had a dyno tune from a well know Melbourne shop. Matt found is was pulling timing pretty heavily, was slow to spool up and was not holding boost level into the higher rev range. With about 40 mins worth of tweaking the car was a whole different drive and the owner was grinning ear to ear.
Stopping is not optional!

Has anyone managed to figure out the location and times for the tunes in Sydney this weekend? Haven't been able to get a response from Matt or Bryce. Too busy tuning I suppose :)
