If you're going front mount does it matter? Are you referring to the two Tomei turbos?

I recon you should go a twist mount garret. Something like a GTX3071 with an internal gate. It will come on pretty early on your 2.5. My mate has just a 3071 (non gtx) on a fairly stout fiat 2.0, and it is on full song by about 3200 rpm and holds 23.6 to 8000. Makes a handy 380 at wheels too.
With the twist mount you can get rid of that horrid under the intake runner silicon pipe. I don't think getting a new dump will be too much of a big deal either, and you certainly wouldn't have a problem selling your existing one with the vultures around here.
I must admit that I am thinking about doing this myself on the 2.0, which, for the record would be turbo setup number four in 12 months, which considering I haven't even driven my car since its latest tune makes me think I have a problem. Maybe I should utilise Coyote's other profession, financial advice.

Edit: just thinking about this, the GTX3071 doesn't come with an internal gate option, and that is why my mate had to go just a GT, no room for an external gate. This negates my above post.

Then why not the gt or the gtx with external gate, which is what I potentially want to do when I have enough $$ to blow.

All well and good except for one major problem, my car is an auto! It wont be able to handle that kind of power, and if it does the transmission won't last too long!

Tony is a financial planner too?

I don't know to be honest with you... Will it give me more room? It still needs to bolt on to the up pipe? Yeah, the two Tomei's... :(

Well yeh if you have a Fmic you have plenty more room to move with the turbo, but yes depending on the turbo you might need a custom up pipe.

The difference between the 7760 and 7960 is about 40hp...and the 7760 spools up slightly quicker.

Fmic will make it slightly more efficient if you have that dirty standard bend because of the way our turbo's sit... If you rotated the housing you could eliminate that bend giving you a touch more space in which you couldn't do anything with... So the 2nd one is the one with the extra 40hp? I only ask because i have heard of the 1st one but have not read much into the 2nd... I will read more about it... Can we get them at the same time to save more? :D

Well there is the answer to Rome's problems. As for the auto issue, i guess don't wind too much boost into it...Until you do what that chap with the supercharged H6 did.

Jaydece, is yours a stock mount with a subaru style flange or a t3 style flange? ps...FLANGE!

Rooby: I cannot be bother multi quoting, but a doffing of the cap for the simpson's reference.
