It’s been just over a year since I had the s/c installed and tuned. The s/c and car has been going great apart from a slight idle hunting issue and my custom mild steel cat back system rusting in a few spots, so I had them addressed. I kept my magnaflow mufflers and replaced the rest of the exhaust with s/s K2gear extractors, s/s Xforce middle section & s/s Xforce y-pipe. Oh I also had a retune from Cihan @ Etuner.com.au.

I'm pretty happy with Cihan's first attempt, throughout the whole day he was open with dialogue and explained everything he did, even though at times it went over my head and he also fixed the idle hunt issue.

The car is about 98% where I want it to be, going to go back for another touch up so Cihan can work on the lower rev range & AVCS, but before I do that I'm going to add the WTA cooler kit.

As you can see the car made 224kwatw but the intake temps were pretty high so Cihan reduced power to a safe level until the WTA Cooler kit is installed.

Once the WTA cooler kit is fitted will go back and see what happens, interesting times ahead.

Anyway, it's not about the number, it's about the way it drives and it currently drives pretty darn good

Damn good result! Now inspired for further development.

The WTA kit will be a sight when it is installed. Is it going to be polished or a dark matt finish?

The polished or Matt Black finish is your choice

We can do either

G - thanks for sharing the progress report. The K2 headers have made an great improvement, also a new tuner. Some gains would be attributed to both changes. Very good progress

Didn't know we had a choice, probably matt finish for the stealth look.

Matt black finish sounds good.

No problems Tim and correct gains are had from both as I let this new tuner push the car a little more then the initial tuner.

Looks like your website needs updating

But tell your tuner not to worry. Execceding high intake temperatures are not a problem and can be tuned out.

Thanks Stephen..

G

True, the expected power levels for every stage (as was on the website previously) of the kit have been exceeded and arent showing the true value of the system

The non intercooled now ranges from 180 - 200kw at wheels (originally qouted only 175 wheels)

The intercooled power range could go beyond 250kw at wheels (originally forecast at 200 at wheels)

The thing which must be said here, is the old numbers probably still hold true if stock exhaust manifolds and a relatively stock exhaust system is being used. The gains step up hugely (to the new forecast figures) once the headers are installed and the engine/SC system can breath as needed

Phenomenal result G.

I better get my act together just to be competitive.

Thanks for sharing as well.

Your cars coming along nicely with both the power to go fast and pull up quickly with those Brembos.
